The Nattandiya International School gives an excellent international standard education to all of their students. It supports them to grow into socially responsible, well-educated, tolerant and imaginative global citizens.

Students will learn about different cultures without lacking knowledge about the Sri Lankan tradition and history. We know that we live in an interconnected world and to understand another culture, we have to learn the way other people think and therefore we have to learn different languages. We consider speaking different languages as a basic requirement for communication and a successful career. Thus, our curriculum includes the languages spoken in Sri Lanka (Sinhala, Tamil) as well as English and German. Sinhala is the principal language of instruction, but we will also teach some subjects in English. Later, students will learn Tamil and German.

Besides that, we make sure in the importance of sport. Sport can be an agent for a strong togetherness between people of different ethical und cultural backgrounds. It reinforces the social bonds and relationships amongst the participants and it offers an opportunity to interact with other people, develop personal qualities and at the same time learn about respect and responsibility in a group setting. Hence, we support and inspire young talented individuals and offer a wide range of sports progress.
